WINTER STORM 2005!!!

Ok, we only got <1/2" of snow and ice, but Atlanta is in a tizzy over it. It's beautiful and cold, though.

We were supposed to have guests this weekend, but they chickened out. I don't blame them, the roads aren't terribly safe and they would have been interstate traveling. It's too bad. I was pretty excited about seeing them. It's been a long time. Damn you, Snowmiser.

What will I be doing today? Watching movies, eating ice cream, playing with the kitties. I promise I won't be drinking, however. I have been quite the teetotaler since one month prior to the laparoscopy and will be continuing for a while longer. I am hoping that come IVF, my eggs will be in better shape. It's a theory. And, oh yeah, I will be Googling and studying the IVF packet my RE gave me, while daydreaming about our consultation scheduled for March 1. Did I mention we decided to go forth with IVF?

March 1. One month left to go before a world of crazy hits the Drab household.

Snowmeiser, my favorite! Enjoy your lovely sprinkling of snow. Here in Boston we're trying to dig out from three feet, which has created snowdrifs so large you just know they're going to be there until March. Good luck with your upcoming IVF!

Ugh.. that ice is on it's way here!!! Sucks.

As for IVF. Good luck !!! Sending lots of prayers and as much babydust as I can muster!!! I hope that is the thing that will do the trick to get you a healthy baby (or 2).

Congratulations on your IVF decision! I can't WAIT to see the wrath of Hormona on Lupron. That shoulds be FANTASTIC!

Enjoy your snow. Don't try to get out in it either. We don't want you busting your ass. Your shots will hurt even worse if yo booty is black and blue!

Congrats on the consult and IVF plans! Sounds like things are moving along, which is always nice, if not also stressful.

I had no idea you live in the Atlanta area! A and I were there for 4 years, left in 2003--how I came to love that city and the people! I went through 2 REs while there (one bad, one good) and learned a lot in the process. Sounds like you've got one of the good ones though!

Hoping for all good things as you get closer to the big day...and then continued good things as the plan gets underway!

Ice storms suck. We got 1/4 inch of ice instead of the 2 inches of snow they thought we would get.

Congrats on your IVF plans.

Exciting stuff--we're heading to IVF this spring, too, if this IUI cycle is another bust.

Congrats on the IVF date. Geesh, clearing all the hurdles to get there can be like qualifying for the Olympics! I'm in D.C. and we're getting a pretty good dusting of snow. When I moved here from Alabama, I thought these folks would have snow down pat. Nope, they still pretty much freak out like we southerners do. Enjoy the day inside with the kitties...
